Madeline believes in building community through conversation and is passionate about empowering others. Her professional focus is on public service, community development, and foreign policy.

Maddie currently serves as a Peace Corps Volunteer focusing on Public Health in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan. Her service will last from 2013 to 2015.

Madeline served as a Day of Service Coordinator for the 57th Presidential Inaugural Committee and the National Day of Service. She was formerly a Field Organizer for Organizing for America – Virginia, part of President Obama’s Re-Election Campaign, an Admissions Counselor for The American University in Cairo, an Intern with the US Department of State in Damascus, Syria, and an intern with CARE in Atlanta, GA. In 2007, she worked with EduCARE India on cross-cultural and service-learning education programs in Chandigarh, India.

Madeline graduated in December 2010 with a BS in International Affairs from Georgia Tech, spending a year studying in Egypt at The American University in Cairo. While in school, she worked extensively with AIESEC, the world’s largest student-run organization focusing on personal and professional development through international exchange programs.
